trenddjakarta.com, JAKARTA, November 10, 2025 – Canva, the world’s only all-in-one visual communication platform, brought its flagship event, the Canva World Tour, to Indonesia through Pusat #GampangDiCanva, an immersive, engaging community experience held at Sarinah, Thamrin.
An extension of the recently concluded Canva World Tour. A month-long global movement dedicated to making design education accessible to everyone, everywhere. From a creativity-fueled bus tour across the US to community training events around the world. Canva delivered hands-on learning, inspiring experiences. And also unforgettable moments to millions of people globally.
In Indonesia, Pusat #GampangDiCanva brought this vision to life by inviting creatives and design enthusiasts to explore design, branding. And content creation through interactive workshops and insightful di scussions led by experts, creators, entrepreneurs, and Canvassadors (Canva verified experts).
Attendees participated in dynamic panel discussions and hands-on workshops celebrating creativity, design, and entrepreneurship. The sessions featured inspiring voices from the National Creative Economy Movement (GEKRAFS), the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI). And prominent creators and influencers, including Nex Carlos (@nexcarlos), Sarah Ahmad (@saraaaahmad), and Ricky Harun (@rickyharun). That who shared their journeys and insights on impactfully scaling their brands with Canva.
“Hot on the heels of the recently concluded Canva World Tour. We’re thrilled to hold our first large-scale offline event, Pusat #GampangDiCanva, a thoughtfully curated, immersive experience designed to bring our community closer to Canva’s AI-powered innovations. From Canva AI to our supercharged Visual Suite, we’re hosting a series of hands-on workshops to help users design, collaborate, and communicate more efficiently than ever before. We’re equally proud to spotlight homegrown success stories that celebrate how creativity and technology are empowering Indonesian businesses to grow from strength to strength.” Said Sarah Humaira, Country Marketing Manager – Indonesia, Canva.
Beyond the learning workshops, the event turned into a celebration of creativity and community. Participants also enjoyed a high-energy design competition using Canva, with exciting prizes to be won, and the day ended on a high note with a lively musical performance by Mocca.(***)
