Hailing from di verse backgrounds of their home country’s music scene, to Indonesia in a live showcase presentation billed as “KOREA SPOTLIGHT INDONESIA”. Scheduled to take place at creative complex M Bloc Space, Jakarta, on Thursday, August 27, 2026. “KOREA SPOTLIGHT INDONESIA” aims to become a joyous rendezvous point among both Korean music fans in the city. And some of South Korea’s most exciting and creatively daring artists.
In addition to Indonesia. KOCCA is also set to hold a similar “KOREA SPOTLIGHT” event in various countries across the globe, including but not limited to Mexico. A few months ago, a “KOREA SPOTLIGHT” event was previously held in Taiwan and Thailand. “KOREA SPOTLIGHT” is a flagship global Korean music showcase program hosted by KOCCA and the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST).
Since its launch in 2017, “KOREA SPOTLIGHT” has successfully presented top Korean artists to audiences around the world.
“Through the ‘KOREA SPOTLIGHT’ program, KOCCA aims to support artists developed in South Korea in maintaining their international presence. ‘KOREA SPOTLIGHT INDONESIA’ extends this mission. Offering the South Korean artists opportunities to engage with the music fans in Indonesia, foster new collaborations with industry professionals. And broaden our presence in Southeast Asia,” enthuses KOCCA.
For “KOREA SPOTLIGHT INDONESIA”. KOCCA proudly unveils an exciting line-up of artists consisting of can’t be blue, MRCH, Nerd Connection, and Silly Silky. These South Korean artists have been curated and selected based on their ability to resonate with wide music audiences across Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia. In addition to the artists, Indonesian alternative-rock band Reality Club and Malaysian rock band Masdo will also help enliven “KOREA SPOTLIGHT INDONESIA”.
Additionally, can’t be blue, MRCH, Nerd Connection, and Silly Silky are all alumni of Muse On, a di scovery and development program led by KOCCA that focuses on emerging South Korean artists. “KOREA SPOTLIGHT INDONESIA” will feature these four artists’ debut live performances in Indonesia. On top of that, this will be the first time Muse On alumni participate in a “KOREA SPOTLIGHT” showcase event.
“We are aware that Indonesia is a market with such a thriving live music scene, and that audiences’ enthusiasm for live shows is very high,” continues KOCCA.
“All of the musicians taking part in ‘KOREA SPOTLIGHT INDONESIA’, in our opinion, are capable of connecting completely with Indonesian music audiences. While also getting to experience a live show that exudes a fresh kind of charm from typical music presentations.”

MRCH has also been an active presence in major music festivals across South Korea. As she remarkably establishes herself as one of the most sought-after live performers in the scene.

Very recently, Nerd Connection has released its latest extended play (EP) titled On the Crest of a Wave. Including the Best Dance & Electronic Song trophy at the 16th Korean Music Awards back in 2019 (under her former moniker, YESEO). Since she changed her stage name to Silly Silky in 2022. She has continued showcasing her chops not only as a singer but also as a music producer. Her 2024 mixtape, Silly but, Silky, is a 20-track electropop masterwork that allows listeners to take a trip through Silly Silky’s musical cosmos. And become fully immersed in her shimmering soundscapes.
Last but not least. KOCCA is also excited to reveal that can’t be blue, MRCH, Nerd Connection, and Silly Silky will also grace the stage at AXEAN Festival 2026. Which is scheduled to take place at Jimbaran Hub, Bali, on August 29-30, 2026.
On the festival’s first day (Saturday, August 29). MRCH will grace the TuneCore Stage from 8.40 PM until 9.10 PM local time. Whereas Silly Silky is set to perform at the EMPIRE Stage from 9.10 PM until 9.40 PM local time. On the festival’s second day (Sunday, August 30), can’t be blue will conquer the TuneCore Stage from 6.10 PM until 6.40 PM local time. Whereas Nerd Connection is scheduled to light up the TuneCore Stage from 8.40 PM until 9.10 PM local time.
