Building on its successful global footprint since its debut in London in 2009,
Diageo World Class featured 18 finalists curated from 6,000 participants starting across 24 countries. Today, Di ageo World Class has expanded its reach and engages with numerous top-tier worldwide bartenders across more than 55 countries. Following the global vision, Di ageo World Class Indonesia, which was first introduced in 2015. Remains committed to nurturing local bartenders across various cities in Indonesia. And fostering innovation in the bartending industry through di verse themes and challenges each year.
Astrida Pohan, International Spirit & Luxury Portfolio Manager, Di ageo Indonesia explains. “We are delighted to host Di ageo World Class once again. Since its audition phase, a total of 68 bartenders from across Indonesia have registered. Today, we get the privilege of witnessing one of the most prestigious moments in the Indonesia bartending world. As 8 finalists from Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya compete to be the champion of Di ageo World Class Indonesia 2025. Within the industry, specifically in Indonesia, we see a growing pool of talented bartenders, and this competition will be the right platform to express and showcase their skills in presenting and crafting cocktails.”
Being an annual event, Di ageo World Class aims to break boundaries in the bartending world. The presence of Di ageo World Class is expected to unite participants from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Sharing passions to elevate mixology standards through innovative cocktail creation with Di ageo’s esteemed premium brands. Beyond impressive presentations, unique flavors, and memorable experiences. Participants are also challenged to captivate both judges and the audience with their compelling storytelling skills.

Di ageo World Class Indonesia 2025 also features International judges with di verse backgrounds. Of course with extensive contributions in mixology and the hospitality industry. They are Orlando Marzo as a winner of Di ageo World Class Global 2018. Aris Sanjaya, 1st Winner Di ageo World Class Indonesia 2024 and Runner Up Di ageo World Class Global 2024. Rian Asiddao, Brand Ambassador of Di ageo Philippines and Co-founder of Bar by East. And last Kabir Suharan, Co-founder of Pantja Bar Jakarta.
After a rigorous selection process, from the Top 8 Final Challenge to the Top 3 Final Challenge. The judges of Di ageo World Class Indonesia 2025 announced Charles Richard from Seken Bar, Seminyak, Bali, as the Winner of Di ageo World Class Indonesia 2025. As the winner, Charles will begin preparations to represent Indonesia at the Di ageo World Class Final 2025. And will taking place in Toronto, Canada this September. This stage will serve as a platform for Charles to demonstrate their expertise and compete against the top-tier worldwide bartenders as Indonesia’s representative on the global stage.
