trenddjakarta.com – JAKARTA Alternative pop unit, Lomba Sihir, has been announced as one of the line- up for the upcoming Asian Pop Festival. Held on June 21st – 22nd, 2025 at Paradise City, Incheon, South Korea. The annual music festival is a prestigious music festival that boasts a curated line-up of acts from South Korea and beyond. During its first phase rollout,
Lomba Sihir’s name was confirmed to participate in that event alongside local acts. Like Silica Gel, Yogee New Waves, Lee Seung Yoon, etc. as well as international performers
such as Lamp (JPN).
“Sun Eater hooked us up to the Asian Pop Festival through intense communication since last year. Finally our collaboration comes to fruition in 2025″. Said the band whose members are Baskara Putra, Enrico Octaviano, Natasha Udu, Rayhan Noor, and Tristan Juliano.
Gearing up to give their best performance on the aforementioned event during summer time. The band is said to do rigorous practice. Keeping their bodies and minds in top condition is also part of the preparations.
“We intend to play songs from the first as well as our forthcoming second album Obrolan Jam 3 Pagi. However, this opportunity gives us a chance to do numbers that we usually could not play on our regular set back home (due to time constraints, etc). Those songs are sonically attractive but aren’t often part of our usual set,” added the band.
This marks the fourth time that Lomba Sihir is invited to music festivals abroad. They are excited to absorb the festival’s energy, engage with new listeners, build networks among their peers, and enjoy South Korea.
“We’d like to watch fellow performers Silica Gel and Lamp as well during our stay there,” they shared.
As one of the international acts at the festival, Lomba Sihir is eager to learn more about music performance. They plan to observe little details that fellow Asian musicians put during each of their sets. Lomba Sihir also wishes to pay closer attention to the live production aspects of other performers. In return, the band hopes to incorporate these insights into their own performances at home to produce a better. More entertaining and more well-rounded performance.
After the band’s lineup announcement, they were met with a warm reception from their fans in South Korea, who eagerly await their performance. Moreover, Lomba Sihir has another to-do list during their stay at the Land of Morning Calm.
